Two Days of Vendor Fun

Vendor Instructions​

We’re thrilled to welcome vendors for two full days at Animas River Days – Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st! Sunshine, flowing water, and a lively crowd await. Please review all instructions carefully to help us run a smooth and safe event.
FRIDAY, MAY 30 – Vendor Walk-Through
Vendor Meeting: Friday, May 30th at 5:00 PM

Meet near the changing area in the upstream parking lot at Santa Rita Park
  • Please attend this meeting to walk through the park, ask questions, and receive your vendor parking pass (note: this does not guarantee a parking spot).
  • We will review a map showing your assigned booth space. Please set up only in your designated location on Saturday morning. 
SATURDAY, MAY 31 – Set-Up & Event Info
All vendors must be set up by 8:00 AM
Saturday Vendor Hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM


Arrival Schedule:
  • 6:00 AM – ARD Headquarters, Sound
  • 6:30 AM – Vendors 1–10
  • 7:00 AM – Vendors 11–20
  • 7:30 AM – 4CRS, Alpacka Rafts, Jack's Plastic, Food/Drink Vendors
  • 7:45 AM – Non-profits / Education Vendors
Important Set-Up Notes:
  • Vendors may drive onto the river trail only with a City escort.
  • Drop off booth items quickly and exit—then return on foot to set up
  • Use sandbags (no stakes) for tents—this is required due to underground sprinkler systems. Be prepared for wind. 
  • Stay on the river trail at all times. No oversized trailers allowed.
Drop-Off Instructions:
  • Enter the park and turn right toward the treatment facility parking lot.  Line up at river trail entrance. 
  • Drop items, exit via the alternate river trail on the east side. Santa Rita Park parking passes will be given to vendors. 
  • No unescorted vehicles allowed on the river trail.
Saturday Tips:
  • The busiest time is 3:00–7:00 PM during the infamous River Parade.
  • Overnight security will be provided Saturday night (7 PM–7 AM).
  • Please take cash and valuables with you.
SUNDAY, JUNE 1 – Hours & Breakdown
Sunday Vendor Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Live Music: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Breakdown Starts: 4:30 PM (after the music ends and park is cleared)

Breakdown Rules:
  • No cars are allowed on the trail until spectators have cleared the area.
  • Pack up your booth before retrieving your vehicle.
  • Use the same one-way traffic pattern as Saturday (enter downstream, exit upstream).
  • Volunteers will be available—ask for Aaron, the volunteer coordinator, if you need help.​
Additional Rules & Reminders
  • No dogs allowed at Santa Rita Park during the event – please leave pets at home.
  • No overnight camping or RV parking in the lots.
  • Motorized transport is not permitted on the river trail (including OneWheels, e-bikes, scooters).
  • Bikes must be walked inside the beer garden area.

Sales Tax Information
All vendors must pay sales tax to the State of Colorado for the benefit of the City of Durango.
