Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure a smooth experience during the event set-up on Saturday, June 1st, at Santa Rita Park.
Setup Instructions:
- Timing: Setup is from 6:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Please keep an eye out for our email with a detailed map of vendor locations and other crucial information about vendor set-up.
- Process: City workers will escort each vehicle into the park one-by-one. Upon entering, turn right and proceed to the far parking lot where City employees will guide you into the festival area. You may not drive onto the river trail without an escort. Note: No oversized trailers are allowed on the river trail.
- Unloading: Please drop off your booth necessities quickly and exit with your vehicle to maintain a smooth flow. After parking, you may return to set up your booth. Please don't set-up your booth until after you have parked your car outside the festival area. We need to keep the sidewalks as clear as possible for traffic entering and exiting the park.
- Parking: Vendor Parking Passes will be distributed during morning setup by ARD officials.
Park and Event Rules:
- Tents: No stakes are allowed with your Pop-Up Tent. Please use sandbags to assure that your tent is secure.
- Animals: Dogs are not permitted within the event area.
- Bikes and Motorized Wheels: Bikes must be dismounted within the beer garden barriers. No motorized wheels are allowed on the river trail.
- Camping: Overnight camping, including vehicle or RV camping in parking lots, is prohibited at Santa Rita Park.
Sales Tax and Licensing:
- Vendors must pay sales tax to benefit The City of Durango. Contact the City of Durango City Clerk for licensing at 970-375-5010.
- Ensure your sales tax license paperwork is submitted; if not, email it immediately to [email protected].
Additional Information:
- Weather: Prepare for both chilly mornings and hot afternoons. We recommend bringing an easy-up tent, table, and chairs.
- Security: You are responsible for the security of your booth. Ensure it is attended at all times.
- Zero Waste Initiative: As part of our commitment to becoming a Zero Waste Event, please adhere to our guidelines. We will be emailing you additional information about how you can participate in the Zero Waste initiative.
Breakdown:
- Vendors must pack up and leave the festival grounds according to the City's instructions after the event concludes at approximately 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 1st.
- The river parade occurring between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM is the busiest time, so plan accordingly to avoid traffic jams during breakdown. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter the park area until most, if not all, of the crowd has left the park.
