Set-Up: Please refer to the attached map and number list below to know where to go. The City of Durango requires that all booths be set-up by 8:30 a.m. when the first event begins (kayak and canoe slalom). With this in mind, we ask that you review the map below and arrive at the appropriate time:
The City workers will escort each vehicle into the park one-by-one. When you enter the park, turn right and go to the far parking lot. Look for City employees who will guide you into the park. You may not drive onto the river trail without being escorted by a City employee. No over-sized trailers will be allowed on the river trail. Please drop you booth necessities and exit with your car and then come back to set up to keep the flow going.
Due to the construction, we can no longer use the river trail on the west side of the treatment center, so we will be exiting the park onto Hwy 550. CDOT has requested we do not enter the highway after 8am.
The City has requested that no stakes are used with your Pop Up Tent. Please use sandbags, no stakes! The grass is not in great shape, so they are trying to preserve what they can.
Break-Down: Vendors must break-down, pack-up and leave the festival ground according to the City's instructions to prevent a traffic jam on the river trail during breakdown. The festival will be done at approximately 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 1st. The busiest time at the park is just before and during the infamous river parade, approximately 3-7 PM.
Parking: Vendor parking will be available in the Santa Rita Park northern parking area. However, please remember that parking is not open to the public after 11 AM and also is extremely limited. We will pass out parking passes during morning set-up. If you need to park before you have received your pass, please go to the ARD booth under the Pavilion to receive your parking pass.
Park Rules: Dogs are not allowed inside the Ska Beer Garden, which includes all sections of the park along the river within the barriers.
If you bring a bike to help you transport an additional product, please dismount from the bike when inside the beer garden barriers. The City of Durango does not allow any motorized wheels on the river trail, including Onewheel's, motorized bikes, etc.
There is no overnight camping at Santa Rita Park. This includes camping in your vehicle or RV in the parking lots the night before the event.
Sales Tax: Vendors must pay sales tax to the state of Colorado to benefit The City of Durango. You must contact the City of Durango City Clerk for sales tax licensing (970-375-5010). Appropriate paperwork should have been submitted with your vendor application. If this has not been done, please email a copy of your sale tax license immediately.
Plan for rain or shine. It will be chilly in the morning and hot in the afternoon. We recommend that you bring an easy-up tent, table, and chairs. You are responsible for the security of your own booth, and it is recommended that someone be at the booth at all times.
Lastly, we are striving to be a Zero Waste Event by 2020 so please keep that in mind. Check out our info on zero waste on our website,https://www. animasriverdays.com/zero- waste.html
